My wife doesn't seem to mind. If we stay at a hotel sometimes we are on opposite sides from when we sleep at home. Does your side of the bed change depending on where the bed is located in a room? Also when you sleep on say the couch do you sleep head toward the door or away or do you not have this OCD? Might be one step less from my side, but that's not by design. At home I always sleep on the right side, but when traveling, I usually end up on the left side of the bed.
